If you have a book-length manuscript and are looking for an early reader or substantive editor, I’d love to connect. Together, we can talk through your project and explore how I might support your work. Typically I start with reading a sample, then we discuss our way forward.
I specialize in memoir and nonfiction, offering feedback on craft, narrative structure, character development, and the writing process. A big part of my approach is helping writers uncover and refine the “core energy” and “guiding question” at the heart of their project. Such clarity can be a guiding light, a path through, and an anchor to drive the narrative and revisions forward. This is something that’s helpful at any stage as it helps you refine voice, fine-tune scenes, and deepen interiority and ultimately improve your writing.

I offer editing services and consults on a sliding scale ($40–$90 per hour / 1,000 words). For larger projects, we’ll scope something together based on length, complexity, and desired timeframe.

About me: I’m an active member and volunteer with the Creative Nonfiction Collective (CNFC) and the Federation of BC Writers (FBCW). I’ve completed SFU’s The Writer’s Studio, hold a Master’s in Publishing and a BA in English Literature, and am part of a lively writing group where I’m always learning—and always happy to share those insights with fellow writers. My writing has been consistently shortlisted for reputable writing contests and I’ve had success in securing grants.
